About MeMy name is Kathleen Mills and this is my second year teaching at Barrow Elementary. I am an Early Intervention Teacher and I work with 2nd and 3rd grade. That is nine classes total! I spend most of my day rotating between those classrooms and I also have two 45 minute segments of ELT during the day- one with 2nd grade and one with 3rd grade! I primarily focus on reading and math skills with students. I aim to customize your student's learning to their specific needs and help make school an enjoyable place. I focus a great deal of attention on student growth and celebrating successes.
I was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and moved to Athens 3 years ago to attend graduate school at UGA. I have been married to my husband Carter for one year. We also have a beloved dog, Peyton Manning (pictured left)! |
